I’ve been waiting a few days, but the “Sing: Thriller (2024)” short has not appeared on Plex’s own metadata site, preventing a match from being made. It is on all the major metadata sites, and has been released for 4 days now (Oct 16th).

The Movie/Short has only been added to TMDb on the day of its release. So maybe give Plex a few days to digest the data.
It’s been 4. 
The usual time-frame for changes on TVDB to propogate to Plex is 2-3 days. I haven’t had a “movie” fail to match - ever. I suppose the short was probably a surprise drop on streaming, so no entry was made before-hand.
But I am starting to worry that Plex might be refusing to pick this one up (after reading the horror-show that is Plex’s handling of the Erik & Lyle/Dahmer/Monsters TV show).
Edit: I will, of course, wait a few more days. Just wanted to call it out in case something’s up.

Same issue here. Haven’t really encountered this before, but hopefully it’s just a matter of time. Direct matching with the IMDb or TMDB ID doesn’t work either.
Same issue here. Have been trying to match this movie with all possible ways… no luck
Tom said wait a few days, which I will. We’re on day 5, but I will wait until day 7 before I chime in again.
Or if it is working. Whichever is first.
Meanwhile, I am keeping tmdb-1371727 in my clipboard to try it every now and then.
