Hey friends. I added this title, which streamed via a theatre in Washington D.C. but is not prominent enough to make IMDb, to TMDB 9 days ago and it is still not populating in the results when I try to Match the file in Plex. Is there any reason it’s not updating? I’m used to new TMDB titles taking 24, 48 hours max before they work in Plex.
There is some slowness with ingesting that the metadata team has been looking into but i don’t think they have found the cause of yet. I’ve seen some things take 10-14 days.
As BigWheel said, it will probably take a bit of time. I made a test file and nothing matched. I also run Jellyfin on this machine and it did identify it and pull metadata. Not sure why it didn’t pull the poster for it.
I’ve added some things to TMDB myself in the last 2 weeks and still waiting for it to trickle through. Its probably not what you want to hear but just be patient.
Probably didn’t pull the poster since there was no language associated to it. Just added the English tag for it.
Hmmm, personally, I’m hoping that isn’t a requirement, otherwise, I’ll have to go back and fix the shows I’ve been working on, lol!
I’m still figuring out the various workings of setting up all this metadata stuff.
Well, refreshed my metadata on the jellyin side and now I’m seeing your movie poster.
I refreshed metadata on plex for this movie and I’m not seeing the metadata & poster. You may have already seen this but just wanted to give a heads up.
