If Analyze does not detect the intros, you can try Plex Dancing the show. That will force Plex to re-analyze everything for the show - intro detection, generate new preview thumbnails, etc. You will lose any watch history, as you’re completely removing the show from Plex then adding it back.
When you add the show back, you can monitor the analysis by clicking on the Activity icon in Plex Web.
Suggest you do this with a show you know had intro detection before, as Plex does not detect intros for all shows.
Edit: Dance the entire show or at least a full season, not individual episodes.
To Plex Dance the show:
- Movie the show to a location not scanned by Plex.
- Scan the library to pick up changes (the show should be removed from the library)
- Empty Trash
- Clean Bundles
- Put the show back and let Plex re-analyze it.
