Skipping or jumping

HP Envy Intel I5-6200U CPU @ 2.30GHz. 8gb of ram
Windows 10
Synology 1019+

When I use the Plex client to watch movies, I get skipping or jumping. If I use VLC media player and play direct from my nas movies play fine. So my network is fine. I think it’s something with Chrome or the Plex client. Please help

  1. plex and vlc are completely different.
  2. web browser is crappy media player, use plex for windows/mac, or PMP for a desktop player
  3. you provided ZERO details or usable info on what exactly is the problem, or even how to narrow it down to either client or server problem.
