[SOLVED] A LOT went wrong in the past month for my server

Hi

Since an update in august and despite granting editor access to all my folders to Plex Server for both local and system users :

  • my friends can’t access my server anymore
  • posters for things that were setup since a long time are disappearing from my library
  • I have 2 folders : one for Plex and one for Plex media server (what ?)
  • my windows player which was very fast is way slower now (seems to be resolved by just reinstalling the player but not sure yet)

I have done what was asked after each update, I’ve cancel my subscription since I’m quite upset about all those events that totally ruined a perfect experience

Does anyone have pointers to any of my issues ?

Also I can’t order the movies in collections, I saw on youtube you’re supposed to install beta for that, would that be better ? It seems way older than the actual version

I’m afraid I don’t get the same message as you when i try to install Plex again, I can’t get or use a token

I disabled the recommended settings to help for the future.

Also, if this helps, my server appears twice in Plex : once in local which works and another with connexion that doesn’t work

I finally was able to understand what was wrong : the last update just removed all my sharings, so no one had access anymore to my libraries.

Thank you very much for those informations some of them were very useful for other purposes.
