SOLVED - No sound/buffering on Mac using external USB Audio interface

I have a Mac setup with a USB Audio Interface (its an Audient ID14 interface) and when this is selected in the Mac system preferences as the chosen audio device, Plex doesn’t like it, and just buffers and never plays.

If I select the internal speakers on my Mac, all works perfectly. I can select my internal speakers, play the file, select the USB interface, and the video just freezes.

The audio device I have tried to set to ‘Auto’ within Plex, and also directly select the USB interface.

This is there same for the Plex Mac app - and using web player in chrome or Safari

Was a computer problem - the same thing happened in Emby.

Rebooted, and its all good now…
