[Solved] Plex can not match a TV Show that's present in the database

Problem Description :

I can not match a TV Show called Robindronath Ekhane Kawkhono Khete Aashenni (Indian - Bangla language, released today). The TV show TVDB link is - here and the IMDB link is - here. It matches to a South African show called Reyka, and finding it manually does not work either.

Steps I’ve tried:

I’ve tried to match by tvdb id and imdb id but no joy. Then I turned off the new plex TV agent and then I can match, but the new tv agent can not be disabled on a per file basis (or can it?). So I could not find any success on matching with new agent.

Technical Specification:

OS - Ubuntu 20.04
Docker
Permissions are setup correctly since everything else is working.

File Name - Rekka (2021) - Season 01 - RekkaS01E01.mkv

I tried using both Robindronath Ekhane Kawkhono Khete Aashenni and Rekka on file and folder name, they don’t matter.

Please help me troubleshoot this issue.

I had the same issue, tvdb id with new plex scanner doesn’t shows any results. However it worked with another server that’s still on older tvdb/tmdb scanners.

TVDB doesn’t have episodes added for this show yet and TMDB only had episodes added today (13 Aug 2021) so it will take a day or two to propagate into our cache. We don’t use IMDB for episode data.

Check again in a day or two.

It’s fixed now. It’s kind of a bummer though, super hit shows from popular mediums get propagated into plex before they are released and niche bangla shows take 24+ hours.
