SOLVED: Some shows not recording

I just set up my Plex DVR last night, and it’s been working well. I’ve been able to record several movies and a few TV shows. However, I’ve noticed some shows I can’t record. For example, one of the shows I want to record is ‘The Big Bang Theory’. Whenever I set the show to record, the show appears on the recording priority list, but doesn’t appear on the recording schedule, and therefore doesn’t record. In fact, the recording priority list even says that there aren’t any upcoming airings, which I know is false. (On my local over-the-air network, ‘The Big Bang Theory’ airs every weekday at 6pm and 9pm, as well as Sundays from 7pm to 9pm, and the show’s episode list reflects that.) There are other shows that show the same “no upcoming airings” message as well, and I don’t know how to fix it.

My Plex server is an Nvidia SHIELD TV, latest PMS version, and my TV tuner is a Happauge Win-TV Dual-USB.

Do you have it set to record “New Episodes” or “New and Repeat Episodes”?

I set it to “New Airings Only”, is that it? I thought “New airings” meant stuff I haven’t recorded yet.

New airings mean shows that are marked as airing for the first time. if you want the ones you don’t have in your collection you want new and repeat airings, then it looks at your library and records only the shows you don’t have whether it is the first time they aired or not.

Actually, setting it to “New and repeat episodes” fixed the problem. Thanks!
