Hello all, Sonos play counts are not updating again, also it doesn’t remember where it was in an audio file. This impacts smart playlists (eg playing unplayed items) and my tracking of which files I’ve played and how far I’d got through them. In the past this has always been an issue that gets resolved without me changing anything so I suspect it’s a function of an external service but this hasn’t ever been confirmed. Just in case I updated my server to the latest plexpass version but still no updates on playcounts.
Isn’t anyone else seeing this issue? It seems to be due to the external service that plex needs to bounce back to the internal server, for some reason when this issue happens, the plex server can still play via my sonos but the play counts do not get updated. This affects audiobook reading, position saving and my dynamic playlists.
