On the PS4 app I select a TV show. It then lists the season and how many episode in each season left to watch. I’m most cases there is only one file to watch due to how I store my files in a to watch folder. I hit the play button and get the first I watched episode to play. For some files this works and the files play for other it give a sorry there was a problem playing this item error in a red box.
For files with this issue if I go one level deeper so into the season view and click the play button the same file plays perfectly.
Any ideas why it is doing this?

I get this same error on anything that is a HULU.WEBRip.AAC2.0.H264, I cannot get it to play on any device or any browser. I get the same error no matter what I try to play it on. ‘Sorry there was a problem playing this item’
I would love it if anyone had a solution. I have tried everything I can find on Google and nothing fixes it

Folks, I need to ask you to be more detailed when commenting on issues. It really helps us to have the Plex Media Server version information, media information, Plex Media Server logs (with Log to Media Server enabled in the Playstation Plex app Privacy settings), and the holy grail is a sample file which causes the problem.
There are so (so so!) many things about a file that can break video players in non-obvious ways. Frequently the only chance we stand to fix issues is to first be able to reproduce them dependably.
