Hello, so I have of season of TV shows (Star Trek to be exact) that are merging themselves in Plex. They are on the same main folder but separate sub folders on my NAS. I researched the issue and the fix online was simple enough. Found here:

But when I hit the ellipses I don’t see Split Apart option. Point of fact there are a couple of options there I don’t see. Maybe there’s a setting I need to turn on? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you

That is a band aid, not a cure.
And it is only available at the show level, not at the season or episode level.
The better way is to fix this at the source: the file and folder names.

Ok here’s an how I have the files. Basically it’s Star Trek Discovery the new series and TOS the original. I have them in different folders in the Star Trek folder under my TV show folder. I think fits your bandaid. Not sure what do you think?
You must organize them like
V:\TV Shows\Star Trek Discovery (2017)
V:\TV Shows\Star Trek (1966)
One series per folder. Never have more than 1 tvshow in a folder.
If V:\TV Shows\ is your TVShow root, then every series will be here in it’s own folder.
