Split program listing recoding?

Shows like Face the Nation is shown in the guide from 10:30 - 11:00 AND 11:00-11:30. Split in two. The same show and episode number on both listings.

No matter what I’ve tried to set up to record it will only record the first listing but show it is also suppose to record the second. Only the first 30 mins. get saved.

I’ve seen this topic before with no answer and the topic gets closed out after a while.

Is there a way to get the guide listing corrected?

Extend the programmed end time for the first part for long enough, to include both the break and the second part of the programme in the recording.

There is not. The guide is produced according to the programming schedule which is obtained from the TV stations. If the TV station has scheduled a break inbetween a program event (for instance to insert a news program), it will appear as such in the EPG. Plex holds zero sway over that.
