I want to have a VPN client running on the same Windows 10 computer as PMS. I don’t want to route Plex thru the VPN and I don’t want remote access to Plex. Essentially I want to have a split tunnel VPN that by-passes Plex. I have been unsuccessfully trying to use Surfshark but Plex will not operate correctly if Surfshark is installed even if it is not connected. I’d be interested to hear from anyone who has been able to do what I am aiming for with Surfshark or any other VPN service/software.
Private Internet Access has split tunnel that can be set up to bypass Plex.
