Does Plex Web support stacked files? It does not seem to do so properly with Shogun because I have 3 files which total 9.5 hours of video, but the playback bar only shows 2 hours and 50 minutes. I am unable to fast forward to parts of the movie past 2 hours and 50 minutes.
Yes, PlexWeb supports stacked files. Are you sure Plex has correctly identified the files as stacked? If you can provide the xml from PMS, that will give insite as to if it is seeing your files as stacked or not.

Any suggestions beside merging the files?
Thanks.
Are you referring to the mini-series James Clavell’s Shogun ? This is a TV Show and should be in a TV Library, not a Movie Library
If you name them as episodes it should show up and play fine /TV Shows /James Clavell's Shogun /Season 01 /James Clavell's Shogun - S01E01 - Part 1 .mkv /James Clavell's Shogun - S01E02 - Part 2 .mkv /James Clavell's Shogun - S01E03 - Part 3 .mkv

The Blu-Ray release is on 3 discs, where as the original airing is 5 episodes; basically the whole layout was changed from the TV and the previous DVD release.
So the Blu-Ray release do not seem to line up with the original episodes; it plays more like a continuous movie hence I decided to file it under The Movie DB’s entry of Shogun. I see a few others are having a similar issue with this release, there just isn’t any good meta data for it.

The files are stacked, and seem to be detected fine in iOS. On the Web, it only displays one part at a time, and not the complete length of the movie (9+ hours).
If you stack movies like that the fast forward only shows you your progression through the first file. When you get to the end of that file, PLEX will automatically move to the second file and then you can fast forward through that one.
