Several years ago I had to buy a static IP from my ISP to get plex to work. And has been fine for years . The member IP address always showed an actual ip when streaming. The last 2-3 months all member’s IP show as 127.0.0.1 . From my understanding that means my streams are going through Plex servers. I have had no complaints about streaming performance from my half a dozen friends.
My question !
What has changed and do I still need a static IP ?
