Stopped Plex Media Server to update to latest Plex Media Sever after update Start Service is Gone

I stopped Plex Media Server to update to latest Plex Media Sever after the update was installed the start service was gone. I tried restarting my nvidia shield and the service is still missing. I tried stopping Plex Media Server App by going into System Apps and still that didn’t work. I tried disabling the Plex Media Server App and then enabling the app still didn’t work. I also tried doing the same thing for the plex client app and still didn’t work.

Please I need assistance.

I had to create a new server when this happened to me. Hopefully you don’t have a lot of custom settings.

I have the exact same issue, were you able to fix it ? If so, how ?

No tried everything but I could not get the Service to reappear. So I had to start from scratch and create a new server/database. I’m still in the process of setting up all my Tags for my media.:weary:
