For late night binging when my family is asleep, I would like to be able to play the audio track from the stream through my phone and use the headset connected to it while having the picture still presented on my tv through my chromecast (or other streamer).
I of course appreciate it may be hard to sync audio and video going to separate devices, but I am confident you will get it done.
Using an extension cable or wireless headphones connected to the tv is not a nice an option as there (of course) are multiple tvs around the house…
Of courae, the audio track could be sent to the tv as well!
There’s already 2 feature suggestions addressing options to play audio and video on different devices — both covering a slightly different angle. I suggest you comment/vote in those threads (or one of them) in order to avoid distracting/dispersing votes and attention.
Unless I’m missing something significant, let’s close this thread to avoid duplicates.
