I have a upload speed of 7mbps and in am struggling to watch films remotely where download speeds can vary up to 340mbps. it stops and starts.
i am struggling in setting up my remote devices which could vary. but say fire stick (which has a download speed of only 14.01)
And when I visit a friend who has virgin fiber he is downloading it at 300mbps .
it used to work fine on standard settings with this speed now I cant get a good service at all.
CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME URGENTLY AS I AM LOOKING TO TRAVEL AND REALLY WANT TO USE MY PLEX

Your bottleneck isn’t the download but the upload speed.
thank you my system is Qnap nas drive only 3 years old and served me well. what can i improve all the settings are set.
so for instance i set then internet upload speed to 7mbps when the average speed is 8.1mbps
i set the limit to stream speed to 4mbps
But yet I am still getting stuttering replaying

This will depend on your content resolution
To avoid transcoding
where is this section you can adjust on plex?
i dont seem to have this on my plex to adjust. is this in the remote access?

Nope, you should limit it on the device your viewing plex on… for example your fire stick and the apple tv.
