Hi guys. I am after some help with an issue. I have two Plex Servers. One runs from my Nvidia Shield TV and the other runs from a WD My Cloud Home.
Yesterday, I was suddenly unable to stream anything from my My Cloud Home Plex Server. Despite trying so on multiple devices (LG Smart TV, Shield, Fire TV Stick, Android Phone). On every occasion, I got the “An error occurred while attempting to play this video. Please check your connection and try again.” error message.
I have however been able to stream if I log in to the Plex.tv website. It is interesting to note that despite being connected to the same network as both of my severs, they both show up as being indirect in my settings.
I have disabled and re-enabled the service. I have deleted and reinstalled it too but the same issue persists. I can see my entire library from any device but it will not stream. I can continue to stream from the Nvidia Shield without any issue.
It is also interesting to note that Remote Access keeps turning it self off on the My Cloud Home server and can be tricky to turn back on.
Any help would be much appreciated.
