I've been testing the Xbox One app, and I'm mostly pleased with it, accept one major issue.
I'm getting constant stuttering on playback of about half my films, and it looks like a framerate mismatch, or an incorrect conversion of 24fps at 60hz.
This is the issue I'd like to see resolved first and foremost =)
I'd also like to see collections added to the interface, as I have a lot, and its a quick and easy way to marathon films, etc.
Also I'm curious to how audio is sent to the Xbox One, as I see it's in AAC format, and I was wondering is the quality of the original soundtrack reduced, or converted to a similar bit rate as the original?
There's a setting within the app itself but I believe you can only access it while a movie is playing. hit the 3 dots next to the fast forward on screen button
i changed mine to the max possible and now the 1080 movies play perfect.

I didn't realize that option was there. I will definitely change that on my next playback.
Reading other issues, apparently the stuttering is caused by high bitrare dts audio tracks… This makes a lot of sense, but is rather annoying as most of my collection has audio in this format

I'm having the same issue, but like you said its only with high bitrate dts. The server is a 2.6 dual core, when transcoding it pushes it to 100% and still stutters. Have found that it only gives me problems with 1080p+5.1 DTS. 780p or lower with 5.1 and I'm able to keep up and CPUs stay under 70%. I've heard that support for DTS is coming
