Hi. This is bugging me for quite some time now, but I got fed up with it.
I use Plex on my LG Smart TV and I use the Web Player. When I use the Web Player and I watch a movie or series episode with subtitles on the subtitle disappears after a while, usually in between dialogues (so it doesn’t disappear abruptly, doesn’t flicker, a character says what it needs to, next time there’s speak there’s not subs).
If I seek back a bit in the movie the sub reappears and sometimes is visible (it will be visible at the part it previously disappeared), but it’ll disappear again for sure, always.
Same happens with embedded subs and external ones.
I’ve verified that the external subs contain the parts that disappear (it’s in the file), and also, when the disappearance occur and I seek back just a bit, the disappeared line will be shown.
The same happens in the latest version of Safari and Chrome.
Please devs, let’s debug this together and solve it. I’m all in. My time is yours. What you’ll need? Let me know? I’ll do it I can’t believe this happens on my end only. It would be easier to grok if subs wouldn’t appear at all.
