This is a problem that’s been there for ages, and still hasn’t been resolved. I performed a search and a lot of hits came up, but it’s important, so I created another topic.
When my friends play movies from my Plex in the Web App, a lot of the times, subtitles will disappear after a few minutes of playback. Reselecting the correct subtitles track or restarting the movie, fixes the problem for a while, but then the same happens, and the subtitle disappears again. My movies all have embedded subtitles encoded with UTF-8 (+BOM).
A workaround I have used for the time being, is to select ‘Always burn in subtitles’ in the Player Settings. But I like it to be working without that setting as well, so therefore my question.
This happens only on the Web App. I haven’t received any complaints with other apps.

Anyone got news about this? I think this is a lot more important than web-casts and pod-shows, if you ask me.
