I’m so annoyed here. The most basic thing that plex must do is play movies and show subtitles. That’s the main thing that should work. All the other stuff is just nice to have.
I have a LG OLED 2021 TV with the latest Plex app. When I start a movie and select the subtitles (SRT) it plays fine for the first few minutes. After that it’s gone! I have to stop and start the movie for the subtitles to reappear, but after a few minutes… the same thing happens. I’m soooo upset.

I am having this issue too on both my Smart TV and my Chromecast with Google TV, at the very least, playing files with embedded SRT subtitles. I haven’t tested further just yet.

When they stop, usually I have to skip backwards, or stop and restart the video to get them to display.
