Seem to be having an issue with subtitles through the xbox app. Subtitles are encoded into the mkv file and are recognized on the computer through the browser but on the xbox app, it doesn’t show any subtitles. Is this an xbox app issue or something else I got setup wrong?
Do you mean that when you bring up the menu during playback the subtitle stream isn’t listed in the far right column or that when you select them they don’t show at all?
The Xbox One app doesn’t support overlay subtitles. They need to be burned into the video stream itself which requires for the server to be able to transcode. Hopefully one day the X0 app gets an update.
