Subtitles don't work in multi-part movies

I have a 2-part movie I need to watch with subtitles and Plex players can’t handle this. Some only partially, some not at all.

The old Plex Media Player stops showing subtitles when the movie switches to the second file, but there’s a quick fix for this, I just need to select the subtitles again from the “Playback settings” menu.

However, the iOS app can’t handle them at all. The subtitles are selected, but won’t show up. I tried disabling and re-enabling them multiple times during playback with or without restarting the playback or the whole app - nothing helps. Please fix this bug, it’s very critical, I basically can’t watch any foreign movie on iOS devices if it’s split into parts.

Do you have the enhanced player enabled? If so, what happens when you disable it? If not, what happens if you enable it?

It was disabled. Enabling it solved the issue :slight_smile:
