Subtitles don't work with Chromecast

I’ve been using Plex for a while now on all kinds of devices and it works great except for 1 thing. When streaming to a chromecast (tested multiple), from mobile (both from an IOS device and Android device) subtitles don’t work. .ASS subtitles don’t work at all and .SRT subtitles get first changed into an odd font, often too big and high on the screen and disappear after about 20 seconds. This only happens when streaming to my chromecast and the same media whilst watching on my phone, desktop, smart tv has no issues with the subtitles at all.

I’d also like to mention that in the previous version of the phone app, before the new look and lay-out, it always worked just fine.
