Subtitles for users are always off

Hello Plex community,

This is driving me nuts.

For some reason the subtitles for users outside my own network are, by default, off.

I’m hosting the server and when i watch a movie with my account the subtitles are always on with the preferred language. This is also set in the settings in Plex

So my question is, how is it possible that Plex shows the right subtitles for me (I’m hosting the server) but other users see ‘off’ and have to handpick the right subtitle.

Have they configured their language preferences for audio/subtitles in their account settings?
