Streaming an mp4 video file with embedded subtitles, to Plex for iOS (current release) whilst playing the audio via a HomePod Mini forces the embedded subtitles to be displayed.
The Player will report that it is not showing the subtitles and the only way to turn them off is to turn subtitles on, then back off. The problem re-occurs when the next episode begins.
