Subtitles not working

I am running 2 Plex servers, one on my QNAP and a FreeNAS server.
I am running Version 1.13.5.5332 on the FreeNAS server and i have the Sub-zero plug-in.
It appears that the plugin does work in getting the srt files into the media folders. On the Qnap Plex server the subtitles work fine, however on the FreeNAS server they don’t.
Same goes for the album art in my music folder, its there for the QNAP Plex install but not for the FreeNAS one.
I checked and all the settings are the same. I tried the remove all and purge option suggested elsewhere with no luck.
Anyone have had that same problem ?
