The Microsoft store app has been retired. You can download the latest version of Plex Media Player here:
You will need to enable hardware acceleration after installing it, but unfortunately I don’t have the time to spell the details out here. You need to change it into “TV mode”, go into the settings there, and enable hardware acceleration and deinterlacing. You might be able to search here for someone else who explained it.
There’s also a replacement product called “Plex for Windows”, which you can download at the Plex site. However I can’t recommend it for the Surface Go right now because it doesn’t offer acceleration, and the Surface Go CPU probably isn’t strong enough otherwise.
