I had this issue as well, then after reading this thread, I had a bit of insight. Thanks guys!
If you go to Settings with the account that sees the server, you will see “Server signed in as”. You can click the “Sign Out” button next to that, which then releases your server as “unclaimed”. You can then log off the web management interface with this account, log in with your other user (which didn’t see the server) and then you should be able to see the server and “claim” it.
Yeah, it’s totally cumbersome for everyday use, but as another poster said, this is not something which should need to be done frequently. I had to do it only a couple of times to get something setup.
