Sync Issues

I have a Kindle Fire HD 8.9 running Plex 4.24.2.563 (349a9903). I recently reset the device back to factory spec and lost the ability to view or play synced content. I know this is a recurring issue with Plex, and have tried all of the various solutions I have found in Plex forums as well as other places around the internet. I have enabled network logging to try and assist in taking care of this issue.

I attempted to start the Sync from the server instead of the app and everything is showing up. Is Sync intended to work this way? If so, why would the option to initiate a Sync even be available on the app??

You should be able to sync from the app itself too. If it’s not working, it could be a bug. We’ll need to see the logs from your PMS and the app on the device to investigate why it isn’t working.

How do you prefer I send/attach them? I’d prefer not to configure email on
the Kindle, though I have enable log upload to the server.

You can attach the logs to a comment here.

If you don’t have an email client on the Kindle, you can enable “Network logging” while connected to a WiFi network. You will be shown a URL. Enter that into a web browser using a computer on the same network. You’ll get a bunch of text. Save that to a txt file.
