I am going on a trip and want to transfer movies to my Windows 10 Notebook. How do I do this? Thanks
Deleted my original reply since Plex Employee confirmed there is a Windows solution after all
Test this procedure first:

To clarify. You need to install the Plex for Windows 10 app from the Microsoft store. This will then allow you to use the Mobile Sync feature described in that article.

Wow, you live and learn. I’d appreciate this solution for my MBP.

I mistakenly assumed Plex Media Player could pull this off. Probably something they should consider adding. This case in point.
You have to use the Window’s App Store version of Plex. But, I’m having problems with it at the moment. See this thread.
We’ve had request to add Sync to other devices, not just mobile. It is something under consideration.
An alternative is to mount a drive from your computer to the PMS machine, add that location to your library paths, then use the Media Optimize feature to create another copy of your file to that location. After you’re done, unmount the drive, then delete the job from your PMS, in that order. If you delete first, it will delete the files it just created.

Easier and quicker to copy a few files from the NAS to the laptop and pop them into iTunes.
