You must give PlexMediaServer access to the media

1. Control panel - Shared Folders - Click the shared folder → EDIT
2. Permission tab
3. ADD “System Internal User” (click Local user dropdown to show), ‘PlexMediaServer’.
4. Give it whatever permissions you wish.
