Good.

Now I know what you have. (which is what happens when the beta package installs)

  1. Uninstall the package you have now (1.21.0-3744)
  • Make certain to click the “ERASE” option

  1. We’re going to completely remove what the beta package wrote so you can start clean

  2. Open https://plex.tv/downloads

  3. Click the Synology (DSM7) package selector

  4. Download the 64-bit Intel package file.

  5. When it finishes, open Package Center

  6. Click “Manual Install”

  7. “Browse” to get the SPK file you just downloaded

  8. Install it.

  9. We will first try a Normal Installation

  10. Click Next - Next - Done and let it install.

  11. After it finishes, Open your Synology : http://Lan.IP.of.Syno:32400/web

  12. Plex/web should load for you

  13. During this first-time run, it will take some time as it creates all the directories and unpacks all the other files it needs

  14. You should see the “Sign In” and “Got It”

  15. From there, you will be in the Setup Wizard to create library sections
