ci-dessous ma configuration :
Synology NAS DS218+
Shield TV Pro

Je viens de changer mon NAS DS214Play pour un DS218+.
La ShieldTV est le serveur Plex.
Je visionne mes videos depuis le client Plex de la ShieldTV.

Peu de temps après avoir changer de NAS, le lancement des vidéos est très long depuis le client PLEX de la ShieldTV, et tous les autres clients Plex (Plex MacOs par exemple). Environ 20 à 30 secondes. Avant cela, le lancement d’une vidéo prenait quelques secondes (5/10 secondes).

Je m’interroge sur la manière de monter le partage contenant les vidéos (NAS) sur la ShieldTV.
Y a t il des choses particulières à faire du côté du NAS ? Ou cela provient-il de quelque chose d’autre ?

Après quelques recherches, il s’agit d’un bug présent de l’os de la ShieldTv. NVidia propose une solution de contournement.
Il s’agit d’un problème avec les protocoles SMB, lorsque la ShieldTv veut accéder à un partage sur les disques du NAS.
Problème avec le SMB2 et SMB3.
Nvidia conseille de passer en SMB1 uniquement.
Quelqu un à déjà réussi ?
Personnellement, j ai essayé, et j ai cru que je n’allais jamais pouvoir monter le partage réseau.
Je suis revenu en SMB3 pour l’instant.
Si quelqu’un a réussi est ce que cela corrige le problème ?

After some research, this is a bug in the ShieldTv OS. NVidia offers a workaround solution.

This is a problem with SMB protocols, when ShieldTv wants to access a share on NAS disks.

Problem with SMB2 and SMB3.

Nvidia recommends switching to SMB1 only.

Has anyone ever been successful?

Personally, I tried, and I thought I would never be able to mount the network share.

I’m back in SMB3 for now.

j’ai activé uniquement le SMB1 sur le NAS et cela fonctionne à merveille.

En fait, laisser le partage tel qu’il est dans la Shield. Autorisez uniquement le SMB1 coté NAS.
Redémarrer les deux.

I only enabled SMB1 on the NAS and it works great.

In fact, leave the sharing as it is in the Shield. Allow only the SMB1 on the NAS side.
Restart both.

It worked for me:)
