Synology NAS DSM 7 not showing on Plex Web app and no access to media on IOS app

This will be straight forward.

  1. Uninstall the app – Use the first radio button (Uninstall only - KEEP) option.
    – this saves all the existing metadata

  2. Reinstall the same SPK file again (or download from Package Center again)

  3. Instead of Normal Install —

  4. “New or Lost Servers” (Plex Claim Token method)

  5. Click “Get Plex Claim Token” hyperlink

  6. Browser opens a new tab with a Claim Token

  7. COPY it to the browser (click it)

  8. Return to the install tab

  9. PASTE the claim-xxxxxxxx into the box on the form.

  10. Click NEXT - NEXT - DONE and let it start installing

  11. It takes a few seconds longer than a normal installation
    – It’s getting new credentials and attaching them to your server

  12. When it’s completed, as confirmation of success, it’ll print your PlexUsername and Email address

  13. The server is now yours again.

  14. To ensure everything is ok, Open the server the FIRST time by its LAN IP address http://LAN.IP.of.Syno:32400/web
