Synology PMS can't open/establish secure connection

Can you establish the remote access (or access to your server in general) without using the synology.me link?
You don’t need it and it appears to be known for causing unnecessary issues.

Plex link on Synology DS918+ Diskstation Manager no longer opens Plex server

Hi All, New to plex in the last 6 months, eventually decided to build a decent server and now have the Synology DS918+ Everything working great still, however I decided to upgrade my router as it was a bottleneck for my network. Plex server still operating perfectly, however even after upgrading to the current version of Plex server ( Version 1.18.8.2468) I can’t access my server using the PMS link within Diskstation as I could prior to switching out the router.
