Synology Server log-in from Apple TV

Server Version#: 918+
Player Version#: current

Trying to access Synology ds918+ plex server thru Apple TV . I originally set this up on a different disk station and now it keeps try to connect to the old server. How do you delete a server that’s not used anymore.

Thanks very much! That removed the server. I’m still having the problem that Plex on Apple TV is not logging into the Synology DS918+ even though its plugged into the same Asus AC3100. Would it matter that there is no internet connections, just the router as the dhcp server? Thanks again.

If I may? (I have both)

  1. The syno signs into Plex.tv normally
  2. The Apple TV signs into Plex.tv independently
  3. Both are on the same LAN subnet (addresses 192.168.0.23 and 192.168.0.79 to be exact)
  4. The Synology firewall is off because the modem/router (pfSenses) provides this function.
  5. The Apple TV app scans looking for the server and finds the synology.
  6. Both authenticate each other through Plex.tv (the required connection part)

That sounds right and is probably why it worked fine at home, and not so much in the marina with broken WiFi. I guess I will have to use DS Video in those cases with no internet. Thanks much!
