I’m having an issue with some of the newer users that I’ve been adding to my library where the dashboard within Plex will show me usage stats like movie/TV time played but not their played content. For the most part, I’ve always been able to see what content the top users are streaming. However, as of late, with new users, it shows that they’re streaming content based on the usage data but there’s no data on what they’re streaming.
Anyone else experience this or have a possible fix?
Yes! I just got Plex pass and am seeing this. History is very spotty and not reliable.
Yeah. Unfortunately it hasn’t worked itself out. I can’t really figure out any rhyme or reason to it. My best guess is that it might be a permissions thing from the end user. However, that’s not great either because for users that it does work for, the stats don’t line up. 17 hours over the last 7 days but 2 movies played? I don’t think so.
I don’t think it’s a permission thing on the user end because I do sometimes get the information and history. Just not always. (I think it usually does NOT work but how do you know what you don’t know?) Stats were part of the reason I upgraded to a paid account so disappointing that it doesn’t work.
