It’s already implemented, but it will only prevent further seasons disappearing and not the ones that are already broken.
Hmm, Seasons 1-6 of “Fear the Walking Dead” are giving me empty metadata, but Season 7 is working perfectly. I don’t see that mentioned in this thread or in GitHub so just wanted to mention it here.
Why is this not falling back to TMDB for metadata? And why is it not respecting the checkboxes for local metadata? At this point 4 days later, you guys should be considering cutting TVDB out the loop or at least not making the agent so dependent on their endpoint that a failure can ■■■■ up so many things

Issue seems to be resolved for DC’s Legends of Tomorrow after metadata refresh 
I just had this happen again, I added Solar Opposites S00E04.mkv
This is in a pre-existing folder structure where the main folder is Solar Opposites then Season 01 or Season 02. I added Season 00 with this episode in it. I tried the plex dance and it would not pull the title of the episode. I did what Sillvainplex suggested above, I changed the agent to the TVDB and it found it instantly. Now I have that pesky Upgrade Libraries notification.
What will happen if I allow the upgrade Libraries to run with TheTVDB listed as the agent like in this picture? I prefer the TVDB over I guess this new plex agent, that also uses TVDB, but doesn’t work? I’m honestly confused why this new plex agent exists if it just uses the same info as TheTVDB.
Legend’s looks fixed here too.
got the classic “TBA” on only episode 1 of Season 2 of “Alex Rider”.

Same here, and the rest are just generic ‘Episode 2’, etc. with no other data.
from memory Alex Rider eps are actually not named?
It takes a 24-48 hours before we have metadata after tvdb/imdb have it. You can manually refresh
The first season does not appear to have titles but second does. TVDB does not have any episode summaries for either season but tmdb does so use the themoviedb episode ordering for that show if it is not your library default.
in general if using the new tv series agent you can select by show which one you want to use my changing the episode ordering. Don’t change the agent for individual shows if the library is using the new one as you will end up with strange issues in the future. the new and old code don’t mix well
?? I see episode summaries for both seasons on TVDB. Maybe I’m misunderstanding what you’re saying.

just checked back on on AL, still has a TBA on ep1 and no descriptions on any eps. ugh.
not sure what you mean by “AL” but look at the xml for one of the episodes and check to see if it is actually using new agent by looking at the GUID. if not then you should refresh metadata for entire library so they all update.
sorry i mean AR - Alex Rider. I don’t mix and match agents, when the “upgrade” came along I switched to the recommended PleX everything.

oh I see what is going on. @power We have the data from TheMovieDB but not TVDB yet. You can just change the episode ordering for that show only to TheMovieDB to get it now. For that show everything seems to match so on both sites.
that works, not a big fan of messing with library defaults.
