The Movie Database wont pull content ratings

As per many previous posts like below one, I have noticed this issue lately were Agent “The Movie Database” fails to pull the content rating for movies.
It works for Agent “Plex Movie” however this is never good at pulling all other content.

Same issue called out in below post here where it was said to be fixed and to clear HTTP cache but ive tried this and still doesnt work.

New movie releases are missing content ratings

It seems for some reason, the Plex Movie agent isn’t grabbing content ratings (MPAA) for newly released movies. I have had to manually edit quite a few. These ratings are on IMDB+TMDB, so I am not sure why Plex fails to use them. I’ve had this issue with: Darkest Hour Lady Bird Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri Call Me by Your Name The Disaster Artist.

I have 839 movies missing this content rating as new as 2020 and as old as 1932
If no rating is added then movies wont show for my daughters profile.

Please can someone advise how to fix this ?

Naming of files can be critical and have found over the years to get a good result you must match the name exactly as it appears at IMDb or TMDB. So depending on your settings you need to check.
Have your agents set up correctly is also very important.

If all fails the Fix match and IMDb ID can be used followed by Refresh metadata.

If you have named and structured your collection incorrectly Plex dance may be required.

1. Move the files out of view from Plex
2. Update the library
3. Empty trash or Clean Bundles?
4. Clean bundles or Empty Trash?
5. Move the correctly named files back
6. Update the library

You may think this is trivial but I can assure you it is far from it. Example: (Screen shot)

If when using Critic rating filter, I have found if you do not establish source Icons you have a Naming issue and need to repair your Collection.
