Synology DS918 + DSM 6.2.3-25426 Update 2
Hello,
I just moved in and due to some problems I reinstalled Plex on my synology.
Since then I can’t claim it anymore and I no longer have posters and information on my videos. I access my plex server by typing its ip internally.
I am behind a wired delta freebox.
There is no firewall on the syno and it is fixed ip. The freebox is in full stack ipv4
I tried unsuccessfully to:
update by hand plex. (1.20.XXX)
uninstall and reinstall.
stop the service, log out of plex, and delete the preference file.
deactivate the 4G of the free
add 32400 filtering on the port management of the free
disable UPNP from free
change my plex password and revoke authorized devices
I had the dns from the freebox but I tested with the dns from Google or OpenDNS
My NAS accesses the internet because I can download software
I restarted all of my equipment.
I just updated plex by hand. Version 1.20.4.3517
I just reopened plex with another browser (edge) and it looks ok.
I don’t know what worked because I had already updated but maybe not with the new DNS. I may not have tried with another browser … but it works so many thanks for your help
