How do i fix TV and DVR service in Plex the The Program Guide stopped downloading with the last software update and no place to get help.

There are posts in the Windows forum regarding a problem with SONLIFE. I am using Plex 1.9.6.4385 with HD HomeRun Prime on Frontier FiOS. My program guide was empty following the suggestion, I unchecked SONLIFE, Channel 297 on my carrier and guide data started loading.
i have uninstalled everything and delete all folder and reg entry and start fresh i am unable to get this to work and it did this on both server under different account at the same time.
all i get is
Refreshing EPG (30%)—Downloaded 0 airings

i had decommission the other server so could setup my HDHomeRun Prime DVR Software to record my programs after 4 days of things being down
i also re setup the HD Homerun Prime tuners and had them reloaded all available channels and dump the rest.
i still get this Refreshing EPG (91%)—Downloaded 0 airings. It never downloads anything

This all started with the last software update, i think there is a code issue that has broken and is keeping the software from being able to download the EPG. Get help is so slow and painful and we are paying for this. I have customers i have this setup for and they are are upset also. No sports, news or any is being recorded
The issue seems to be Plex and added in DRM channels protection with HDHomerun Products and all channels with DRM must removed from you channel list, you can look at the channel list with HDHomerun and turn off all these channels. What it means you just lost the ability any movie channels.

I too upgraded to the latest Plex and now my program guide is non-existent. I have the HD Homerun Prime and tried deleting the device/reloading/rescanning channels/reinitiating EPG but nothing seems to work. If gaguru is right with his assessment then I am now without DVR capability. Kinda makes me regret having paid for Plex as Live/DVR TV was the only item I was willing to pay.
C’mon Plex guys, make this a priority for your paying customers!

not fixed, I work around patch, The issue is the movie channels like lifetime, HBO, Showtime, cinemax , music channels the guild download gets stuck on these channels. Remove all channels from the list and only check channels that do not play copyright movies, premium channels or videos and then you can download the guild. I know it defeats the reason we all use the system and really pisses me off. This is and issue starting the cable company and codes the send to each cable card (DRM Code) and how plex read and deals with the signal. I think Plex is aware of this and was forced to used the commands from the cable company to prevent the recording of copyrighted material being viewed by source they can not control.
If you read the forum, it seems that there is a new problem with the EPG. Many threads are talking about it and various workarounds.
Plex DVR has never supported encrypted or DRM channels. The FAQ has a section addressing this:

Channels encrypted or protected with DRM of any kind are not currently supported.
It may be a combination of the EPG problem others are having and your Cable company making changes. I’ve read other reports of Cable companies adding DRM and essentially removing those channels from Plex.
I have 3 cable cards and i reloaded the info all 3 cards have different Channels. I made a list of all the channels and removed them with all the music channels and was able to only get one card to work. I have Charter Spectrum and they have just started adding in the DRM changes from Charter Time Warner and Bright House. The cable company has reset the cable cards and they are unable to make all 3 card have the same programing. I turn off Plex on my Test server and loaded back HDHomerun DVR Service and it seems to have no issue and works off all 3 card without any issues and I let the one working card on My Main Plex server for live TV.
I had same issue with Charter Saint Louis, and in my case it had nothing to do with DRM channels. I removed 2 references to the “SONLIFE” channel, as mentioned in the other thread and it resolved my issue.
I do not have SONLIFE as something to remove. Here the list from the HDHomerun Prime channel lineup. I am still waiting Charter to make all 3 card programming the same. I have re setup all 3 card 8 or 9 times with Charter and they are not able change programing on 2 of my cards. But one note: The HDHomerun Software is able to use all 3 card and Prime devices to display and record all Channels. So it is something between Charter card provision and Plex interpreting this info is where the issue is. As soon as Charter can get me 2 card programed the same i will go thur piece by piece until i find the issue with the new Server as a second test server instead of putting it into production as my plans where this weekend.
**If the Plex Programer would allow the The Program Guide to continue when it gets to a bad channel it can not get info from instead of stopping this would clear most of these issue. **
Please look at channel 110 on your list.
no luck with removing channel 110, but I will retry after Charter get the programing fixed on all 3 cards, which should happen tomorrow at some time I hope
