This is a weird situation, thanks to Hanna Barbara’s habit of repackaging shows. I’ll try to explain below, but here’s the TL;DR:
IMDB has “The Scooby-Doo Show” redirecting to “The Scooby-Doo/Dynomutt Hour”, but TheTVDB lists them as separate shows. This confuses PMS, which struggles to handle both shows properly and just merges the files into one show and kind of messes up the metadata. But IMO TheTVDB is correct, there are differences between the shows, and they should be separate in Plex.
Here are the two shows on TheTVDB:

https://thetvdb.com/series/the-scooby-doodynomutt-hour
The longer version:
“The Scooby-Doo Show” is… weird. It’s technically just a repackaged combination of three other shows: S1 is kind of The Scooby-Doo Dynomutt Hour (which only lasted 1 season), but only the 30-minute Scooby-Doo half of each episode. S2 and S3 are repackaged versions of two other Scooby-Doo shows. The Scooby-Doo Show really IS its own show though; it even has its own (catchy) theme song and everything.
Right now, Plex doesn’t see The Scooby-Doo Show as existing. All three seasons get combined into The Scooby-Doo/Dynomutt Hour, with obligatory duplicates for season 1 for both shows, but without the metadata (including no metadata Season 1 for some reason).
I’ve confirmed that my files are named properly, in folders for each show, and I’ve even added a .plexmatch file to point to the TVDB ID, and did the Plex Dance, and it still ends the same. I’ve tried manually matching, and it will change the cover art, but won’t pull any real metadata. This seems to be specific to how the Plex TV Agent handles the shows, and maybe the confusion between IMDB and TVDB sites.
The obvious question is “Why don’t you just separate the Scooby-Doo Show episodes into the individual shows that make it up?” The first reason is, because as noted above, technically there are differences. One show is an hour, the other is 30 minutes. And in a dumb little twist, the 30 minute Scooby-Doo portion exists in HD; the Dynomutt half does not. So there are specific differences that prevent combining them easily.
IMO, the obvious answer to this weird is for Plex to simply have both shows available through the TV agent. Hopefully it would also fix the metadata issues.
