"The server "Cloud Sync" does not support the dashboard"

I am trying to connect to my Amazon Cloud drive and keep getting this message.

“The server “Cloud Sync” does not support the dashboard”

I am unable to select Libraries. It also lists a folder under Libraries that is not in my Amazon Cloud drive.

This is normal. “Cloud Sync” is a 'pseudo-server". It only contains the content you have Sync’d to it. It is dependent on the PMS server you sync’d the content from.

What are you trying to accomplish?

Thank you for the reply. I am trying to sync with Amazon Drive. I have followed to steps to give Plex permission but it doesn’t allow me to select any folders from the Amazon Drive.

I think you are confusing Plex Cloud with CloudSync
Plex Cloud is an invite only early beta that just started that will allow you to add media that exists on your Amazon Cloud Drive to a Plex Cloud Server.

CloudSync allows you to upload media to ACD through your existing PMS.

REF: How is Plex Cloud different than Cloud Sync?
Cloud Sync was designed to have selected media synced to the cloud that you could watch when your Plex Media Server was offline or otherwise unavailable. As a sync service, this required original files to remain on your local storage. Plex Cloud is a full-fledged Plex Media Server located in the cloud. Your media is hosted independently of your local storage. Wait for it… there’s more! Transcoding is done by servers in the cloud!

Thank you for the reply. So unless I have the Plex Cloud beta, I can’t view videos that i have stored on my ACD? I can only view videos that are on my PMS. Do i understand that correctly?

Yes and no…
Yes, to use Plex Cloud you need an invite.
No, in that you have the ability to mount your Amazon Cloud Drive and then your local PMS will see the content.
How you go about mounting the ACD depends on the OS you are using.

Hey @lonergan4512@gmail.com, Yeah, with CloudSync the content lives on your PMS, your hardware, and a copy is sent to a cloud storage provider. It requires your PMS be on with the content added to it’s library, and all transcoding is done locally by your PMS. With Plex Cloud you can have an additional PMS that lives in the cloud. It doesn’t require that your local PMS be turned on and media is streamed from the cloud storage provider to the client, using the cloud-based PMS for transcoding.
