I have the movie The Wolf of Wall Street, but Plex can’t find a link to it. So I can add the description, the actors, etc.
Does anyone know how I did this?

Works just fine on my server.
H:\movies\The Wolf of Wall Street (2013)\The Wolf of Wall Street (2013) - 1080p.mkv
As usual:
how is the file named?
what folder structure is the file located in?
Which metadata agent is selected in the properties of the Plex library?
Did you rename the file only after it had been already added to the Plex library? (which is usually solved by the Plex Dance)
I don’t understand. You are not supposed to add a different library for each title.
Are you actually referring to the Episode Ordering with TV shows? That is not relevant with movies as they don’t have episodes.
Your screenshot doesn’t reveal the full folder path. It also doesn’t show which of the folders has been added to the library. Which can be important – particularly because the release year is not included in the file name, but only in its folder name.
Metadata for the movie are actually available through the Plex Movie agent.
To verify this, you only need to search for it on watch.plex.tv, as it draws from the same database as the agent: https://watch.plex.tv/movie/the-wolf-of-wall-street
Your search results list is listing a weird spelling error as second result. Considering that the movie in question was officially released in 2014 in the Netherlands, I wonder if this is actually the right match. What happens after you select it?

I never put the year in the movie name. I only put it in the card name, and that works everywhere. But that shouldn’t be offered when I search manually either.

Fix the naming of “Wallstreet” to “Wall Street”, it seems to be tripping up the matcher.
This is not the folder path. This is perhaps the location where you are expecting to find it in Plex.
The actual folder path according to your screen shot is ending with
... Volume1/Multimedia/Films/The Wolf of Wallstreet (2013)/
The screenshot doesn’t reveal how many folder levels do exist above of Volume1.
And it is still not clear which of these folders you have added to your Plex library. If it is anything other than Films, you should change that.
Verify it by editing the library in plex, and looking at the “Add Folders” tab.
There are no levels above volume 1.
The folder i added in plex is de folder movies
I already try but it dont work
And how stupid of me. I just now saw that my file name is “Wall Street,” and it should be “Wall Street.” With that space, it works fine.
thank you for your help
