Server Version#: 3.100.1
My Synology NAS has no trouble adding any folder at all but for some reason, it’s not seeing and updating any of the new media (video) in one of the folders. I’ve stopped the server, deleted the folder, started server, added the folder back and still, nothing.
Permissions are the same with all the folders that have no trouble. I’ve no idea why this isn’t working. What else should I try?

I searched thru log files and in one I found “Failed to create iterator to “/volume1/video”: Permission denied”
Not sure what this means but I’ve got all the permissions set to the same as the other folders that Plex has no problem seeing.

There is something Synology appears to have done again with their VIdeo Station program and the videos share.

We recommend creating separate shares as you need them. I have Movies, Television, and Music. This works well and doesn’t conflict with Synology.

Thanks for the suggestions, I’ll give this a try. However, it was working fine until recently but I don’t think I did anything at all change it.
I probably should do a better job of organizing my files on my NAS anyway!

Well, every time I delete a shared folder after shutting down services, as soon as I start they Synology service for Video Station, it automatically adds a ‘video’ folder on it’s own. Gotta go talk to the Synology forum about that.
