There was a problem saving your DVR. Please try again.

I have an HDHomerun Prime that I am unable to add to my server - it fails at the last step with the error seen in the title. The strange thing about it is that this same HDHR was connected to my server as recently as September, and worked fine. It was then moved to another served and also operated fine (without an M-Card). Re-adding it to the original server is where I’m running into the error, and I can actually get it to work by selecting “Local Over the Air Broadcast” instead of Fios Digital which is what I have here (but then I obviously don’t get cable channels). However, even if I use the OTA guide, channels will tune and play, but Plex DVR settings complains about the HDHR not being connected. So things are not right, and I couldn’t find anything in the logs to help. I have attached them regardless.

Specs:

Server: 1.11.0.4666
Web: 3.31.1 & 3.32.2
OS: Debian 9

Well, I rebooted, and that fixed the problem, although I don’t see why, as turning off and on the media server repeatedly did nothing.

Okay, I hate to bump an old thread, but I’m having this same problem again and it’s very annoying. Plex wasn’t tuning live channels, so I deleted the DVR and went to re-add it, and now here’s this stupid error again. I’ve rebooted multiple times now to no effect.

Still not working. Server version 1.13.3.5208.

Just updated to the latest PMS beta version and it’s still the same error.

I’ve been out of live TV for 10 days now. It would really be nice to get this fixed.

Same error message here while setting up a new DVR device and manually fixing all channels (!).

PMS: 1.13.3.5223
Plex Web: Version 3.53.7

Any news on that. I am keeping receiving the same error.

Attached latest logs.

It still doesn’t work for me. 3 weeks without DVR.

Okay, so I managed to find Plex Will No Longer Add HDHomeRun as DVR and followed those instructions. Of course, that did nothing. With that, and no indications in the logs, I really don’t know what else I can do on my own short of a complete reinstall, which I would prefer to avoid since I have custom metadata for a number of items in my ~20,000 piece library. Is there anything else I can excise out of the database other than this “media-provider-resources” table? A fresh reinstall on my windows desktop works. I know this should work, it did work. Just tell me what to do!

I had some problem using InternetExploder…once I brought up the page in FireFox, all worked OK for me

Same issue here, IE and Edge are bad browsers fr use with Plex, thank you as I was getting frustrated with a fresh install in fact Plex should probably not install if IE is the default browser and pop up a message asking the users to install Chrome

I also had the same issue, install’s fine in Firefox.
Thanks For the help

I’m running Plex on an UnRAID System in a docker with the official PMS Docker and getting the same error Version 1.17.0.1841.
Hoped to get the problmes fixed when I remove the DVR and add it again, but it didn’t work. Now I got no DVR working. :frowning:
Hope someone can help asap, so that I can record all my tv shows.
