hy,
after refusing it for a while i am now ready and enthusiasting for the plex-features on local net, get connected to a atv3, running ios 7.01, naturally NOT jailbroken...
i gues altough the easy steps which are in each guide nad howto- i am anywhere wrong. i got everything setted up, but i will not work anyway.
i got the plex media server located on a fixed hard drive which is part of a pc (on win2k8-domain), privileges on this drive are wide open.
the media server istself seems to be running, but just reachable throuhg the applikation / local netinfo 127.0.0.1
i promise the problem hangs on plexconnect, the usual connectivity tool to the atv, more to network general.
i thought i got it running because afetr soem experience i got an answer to the atv and more likeley also got the self written certificate through hetwork on the atv!
but no matter which settings i try also in the settings.cfg which allow just poor things like automatic recognize the gateway, the local server for the transmission, there seems to be no communication between the plexconnect and the whole world, like blind + wordless. when is start the python tool it tells me that the server has started, seems that when i put the dns-logical in the atv that plexconnect gets requests/ send requests, but NEVER i see in the log that there is a higher instance answer on it... i did already everything possible twice, got the stuff out from from different source but stay the same.
